When you think 2-in-1 computers, you don’t always have Toshiba jumping to mind. But a new budget convertible from Toshiba, the Click 10, might change all that.

Toshiba have revealed details of their Click 10, which sports an Intel (of course) Atom x5-Z8300 processor, backed by 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Not a bad combination when you consider that the Click 10 is going to have a 10.1-inch 1080p display running the show.

There are two storage options, 32GB and 64GB solid-state drives and, at the end of the day, the whole Click 10 weighs in at just 1kg. The detachable screen, where all the components live, weighs 550 grams.

You’d think that these specs would mean that Toshiba’s new convertible would still be running Windows 8.1 but no – Windows 10 will be installed at launch. As for when it launches, overseas markets will get it on 25 September. Local availability has yet to be confirmed.
