TechFinancials.co.za visited Mustek’s assembly line just days after South Korea’s Samsung said it would no longer supply notebooks to South Africa, the latest sign of how smart devices such as tablets and phablets were taking over the local market.

Samsung said tablets were increasingly being favoured locally, and the company was taking a targeted approach to offer feature-rich technology ecosystems to meet consumer needs.
