Samsung’s range of Tizen-powered smartphones have experienced a bit of a false start, with their initial efforts fizzling out a little. But Samsung are not the sort of people to quit on a dream, which is why they’ve got the Samsung Z3 on the way. There’s just one catch though – it’s only launching in India for now.

Which we can respect. Think of India as a test-market for the Z3 before it rolls out to other locations – sales dependent, of course.

What can lucky users expect from the handset, aside from the Tizen OS? A 5-inch screen, 13.GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM, to start, with 8GB of storage and space for a microSD rounding things out. There’s an 8MP/5MP camera combination in the offing, as well as a 2600mAh battery.

Not bad specs. Kinda makes us wish they were releasing the Z3 a little closer to home.
