If you’re paying any less for this, it’s probably a fake.
Let’s get one thing out of the way: you’re never going to see Samsung’s Series 3 NP300E5E out setting any benchmarking high-scores. It isn’t built for that and it doesn’t roll that way, in that order. You could modify this particular Series 3 to do nasty things to benchmarking software but if you did, you wouldn’t be part of its target market – the extremely average user.
And the average user just wants their notebook to work, run some Office and a few basic apps, and to look at least somewhat attractive. This Celeron-wielding Series 3 does all of that and more, though it isn’t going to be doing a whole lot more.
The NP300E5E features a Celeron B847 processor, running at 1.1GHz, and is backed by 2GB of system memory. The RAM/processor configuration is enough to get all of your office work complete (with a little spare left over for some background music).
It also has a 320GB internal hard drive and a Super Multi DVD writer which, along with the 15.6-inch display, gives users everything that they could possibly need from a computer.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
Also included is WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 and ethernet connectivity. The Series 3 supports USB 2.0, has a multi-card reader and VGA and HDMI outputs.
The Series 3 NP300E5E doesn’t have the biggest set of specifications in the world but it does what it came here to do. And, with some computers, that’s the really important thing.
