It may involve taking a trip to South Korea, specifically Suwon, but fans of Samsung’s technology and tech in general can now pay a visit to the Samsung Innovation Museum, a five-story high complex dedicated to the history of technology. And when we say ‘history’, we’re not kidding. Samsung’s starting point is the invention (or discovery) of electricity and scales up from there.

Technology website Engadget was invited for an early tour of the facility and they have a decent rundown of what to expect from the Samsung Museum. There are some criticisms but the website points out that touring the SIM was still an educational experience.

Tech on show includes the first TV ever made, early lightbulbs and other rarities, right up to more modern technology. The company takes the opportunity later in the museum to punt its own products a little as well.
