We’ve joked before about the stars in Samsung’s Galaxy but it’s quite an accurate way to look at Samsung’s product lineup. And it seems as though a new star has been spotted before Samsung was ready to reveal it. This is, apparently, the Samsung Galaxy O7.
There are no images of the handset available yet but the entry-level phone, which will reportedly also be known as the Mega On, has had a whole collection of specs leak out online.
The Galaxy O7 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM and an unspecified amount of storage. We’d expect 8GB, based on the company’s past behaviour.
There’s also going to be a decent camera setup for an entry-level phone with a 5MP front and 13MP rear camera being on the cards. The display is set to be a 5.5-inch 720p screen and it’s thought that Samsung will be bringing this phone to Africa so hopefully we’ll see it here soon. If this is the new entry-level, we’re very excited for the whole product lineup in the next year.
