Samsung’s wearable ambitions just won’t end, with the newest reports indicating that the company will be releasing an entry-level activity tracker onto the market. They don’t really have to, since they’ve already launched the excellent Gear S2, but it seems that they’re going after the lower end of the wearables crowd as well.

The device, the SM-R150, is reportedly known as the Triathlon in Samsung’s offices. That’s more or less the extent of what is known about the wearable aside from the fact that it’s going to be extremely low-cost.

Odds are that it will lack a heart-rate sensor, and it should work with Android devices but we’ll have to wait a little longer before getting more detail on Triathlon.
