It’s time to examine a TV screen that is truly worthy of the name. Samsung’s UA75H7000 is one of these, a gorgeously-designed flat-screen panel that looks fantastic no matter where it is placed in your home – provide you don’t place it somewhere that no-one can see it.

The UA75H7000 is a 75-inch screen, as the model number implies, that features an FHD panel (1920 x 1080) that makes use of Samsung’s 3D HyperReal Engine for its reproduction of detail, colour and dark and light tones – resulting in one of the best pictures you’ll ever see this side of Samsung’s 4K lineup.

The company’s Micro Dimming Pro and Mega Contrast features might have more than a little to do with that, as might the 800MHz Clear Motion rate.

In other features, the UA75H7000 boasts a total of 40W of sound, made up of left and right speakers of 10W each as well as a 20W down-firing subwoofer. This 2.1-channel speaker setup supports DOLBY’s MS10 sound profile as well as DTS Studio and Premium Sound and Samsung’s own 3D Sound technology.

And that’s to say nothing of the various smart features of this TV. The UA75H7000 lays claim to content streaming, screen mirroring and Smart View functions from Samsung, through Samsung’s own connection or Miracast in the case of screen mirroring. Voice control of this TV set is also possible, though Samsung has not added Voice Interaction to this particular model.

In terms of ports, there are four HDMI connections, three USB and two Composite inputs (one Y/Pb/Pr and one AV) gracing the rear of the UA75H7000, so there is very little that won’t connect to the large panel and just work.

Wireless LAN is a baked-in feature and there are a collection of the more typical software enhancements we’ve all come to expect from our TVs besides.
