Everyone needs to have a decent flat-screen LCD TV, no matter how tight their budget is and Samsung has something suitable for everyone. Like the UA32H4100, Samsung’s 4 Series 32-inch TV set that is an entry-level screen that doesn’t skimp on features.
This stylish and well-designed 32-inch TV features a resolution of 1366 x 768, Samsung’s HyperReal Picture Engine and a Clear Motion Rate of 100MHz. This means that it can’t match the bigger 4K screens for image quality but these TVs also cost about a tenth of the price of Samsung’s heavier hitters. Also part and parcel of this package is Samsung’s Wide Colour Enhancer Plus and Film Mode.
On the sound front, Samsung’s UA32H4100 packs in support for Dolby and DTS sound tech, Digital Plus/AAC for the former and Studio Sound/DTS 2.0 for the latter. There are dual 10W speakers (down-firing) for sound output.
This is, unfortunately, not one of Samsung’s Smart TV range so users will miss out on the Smart Hub and other features that characterise the company’s incredible range but the UA32H4100 doesn’t feel bad about that. It knows just how good a TV it is either way.
In connectivity terms, users will have dual HDMI and USB ports to play with, a single Component and Composite bringing up the rear. Not bad at all for a starter LCD TV.
Samsung have also included all of the software features that they can with this non-Smart model, so users will be able to make use of all the TV features they know and love, as well as a few new ones to become fond of before moving up the ranks towards Samsung’s holy grail – the 4K models.
