Samsung’s new Galaxy flagship is something to see. Toting an amazing screen and a brilliant collection of specs across the board, this might be the best smartphone we’ve ever seen – bar none.
The Galaxy S6 is a 5.1 Super AMOLED display, with a 1440 x 2560 resolution, that looks better than any smartphone screen you’ve ever seen in your life. But the fun doesn’t stop there.
You’ve also got an Exynos 7420 octa-core processor doing the heavy lifting. Samsung have combines a 1.5GHz and 2.1GHz quad-core to bring you their very own processing beast – and it shows. It’s the fastest phone we’ve seen in just about forever. No slowdown. Anywhere.
This is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, but this isn’t where the features end. Samsung have included a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, both of which benefit from some nifty upgrades, so your smartphone is a compact camera now as well. Neat.
Android Lollipop, LTE and 3G access and a whole host of other connectivity options just round out the package and that’s without touching on the upgrades in the UI that Samsung have made over the S5. It’s really simple to use and it looks better than ever.
But, before we forget, there’s also the change to the build of the phone itself. The Galaxy S6 is now a glass and metal affair, making this one of the most visually impressive Samsung phones ever released. Can you say ‘Phone of the Year’?
