So you’re battling to find the sort of phone that satisfies your craving for power. Pure, raw, power. If you haven’t found one yet then perhaps you’ve been looking in all the wrong places. The right place to be looking is at Samsung’s range of flagship phones, with the Galaxy S6 being one of the best phones they’ve ever released. But then there’s the Galaxy S6 Edge.
What is so special about the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge? Not much, just the fact that it has one of the best displays we’ve ever seen on any device. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a 5.1-inch curved screen that has a 1440 x 2560 resolution, which is a massive amount of pixels crammed onto a display this small. The result is worth it though, you’re never going to want to look at a standard HD screen ever again.
But the metal-and-glass body, that delightful display and overall style of the S6 Edge isn’t all there is to this phone. If it were, we’d be very unimpressed. But…
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features the Exynos 7420 processor from the company, a monster CPU that makes most other phones look extremely slow. The 3GB of RAM helps, as does the 64 or 128GB of storage available in local models.
Samsung’s 16GB rear camera isn’t to be messed with either, the company’s been putting in the work that side and it shows. The 5MP front cam is pretty decent as well but next to the back one… sorry, there’s no contest.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is LTE-capable, runs Android 5 Lollipop and is the most powerful phone you see all year. What more do you want? Oh, yes, biometric access. It has that too.
