Microsoft’s OneDrive, the rebranded-from-SkyDrive cloud-based file storage service, has got a collection of new features for Android users based on feedback that the company has received. There are five major changes that have been rolled out for Android, including an improved photo interface that integrates videos and photos in one location with an increase in the size of thumbnails for better viewability.

Microsoft has also added the ability to customise folders, replacing the default preview with a single image is now a possibility.

The company has tweaked an existing feature, which lets users publish images directly to a linked Facebook account, to include video publication on the world’s most popular social network as well.

The penultimate change for Android OneDrive users is the ability to add new items to old collections, sharing those items with the same people that had access to the original collection at the same time. Convenient.

Lastly, Microsoft has significantly improved the Android OneDrive app, letting users move, sort and select multiple files or folders at once, also adding new settings and invitation improvements into the mix at the same time.
