Here’s a rumour for you. Microsoft has taken over the Lumia lineup, that much we all know. But they’ve been releasing fairly ‘safe’ phones thus far and that might be about to change.

Several reports are claiming that Microsoft is looking at the high-end smartphone market once again, with two Windows 10 smartphones rumoured to be in the works.

The handsets, codenamed Cityman and Talkman according to reports, will apparently both feature qHD displays, 3GB of RAM and 20MP cameras. That’s already a lot more ambitious than Nokia’s old Lumia lineup. The devices will reportedly sport the latest from Qualcomm with the Snapdragon 808 appearing in the 5.2-inch Talkman and the Snapdragon 810 showing up in the 5.7-inch Cityman.

There’s no official confirmation of these handsets yet though so we’ll have to wait and see what Microsoft actually has on the boil. They’ll likely only become official once Windows 10 hits the market later this year, if at all.
