Microsoft’s Hololens is a wearable headset that has generated a lot of hype. So much, in fact, that it’s going to be hard for the company to actually live up to it. Unless, that is, they’re able to justify it by keeping doing things like this:

Below is Microsoft’s E3 demo for Minecraft on the Hololens, which took place in Los Angeles this week.

If the performance of apps on the Hololens remains this impressive, where users can switch between using the VR headset as a projector and as a 3D-viewer, as is the case with the Minecraft gameplay demo, then it’s very possible that Microsoft will live up to the hype.
