We can’t say that we were not expecting Lenovo to reveal its latest and greatest smartphone, so details of the company’s Vibe Z2 Pro handset are not coming as much of a surprise.

Lenovo has dropped a load of official information, via their Google Plus page, on their newest flagship.

What can users expect from the Z2 Pro? A six-inch quad HD display, for starters, which will be supported by a Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM and the whole lot will be encased in a brushed-metal body. They’ve opted for a humungous 4,000mAh battery, a 16MP camera on the rear, 32GB of storage and Android 4.4.2. Those are specs to rival the best on the market.

The Vibe Z2 Pro is set to start shipping in September this year, though they have yet to confirm just where it will be available. It is expected that the device will stay close to China and the surrounding areas but there’s always the chance that this is the handset that Lenovo decides to take global. It certainly has the specs for it.
