If you’ve been keeping up with business developments then you’ll know that Lenovo is the proud new owner of Motorola, thanks to a purchase from Google a while back. Which means, naturally, that the company has ownership of the possible smartwatches that will be releasing under the Motorola banner.

And Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing has reportedly started showing off possibilities for what could be a sequel to the Moto 360 wearable device. The image above is said to be a series of components that might or might not make up a new Motorola smartwatch.

And that certainly could be the case, as this case of pieces looks like something that could be used to determine variants for the wearable technology. Of particular interest are the circular pieces, known as lugs, which could point to the possibility that users will be select their own straps for the device – whatever it winds up being called.

There’s no detail on when we could expect another Motorola watch from Lenovo but, by the look of things, it will be sooner rather than later.
