Huawei revealed its new smartphone model – the Huawei Mate 8, at the recent CES conference in Las Vegas earlier this week. Chinese consumers seem to be liking the new Mate 8 considering that over a million units of it have been sold in the Asian country, this is according gsmarena.com.
An improvement of the Huawei Ascend Mate 7, the Mate 8 runs on Android 6.0 and keeps many elements of the previous Mate devices in terms of design. It also has a lightening-fast fingerprint sensor located on the back, which unlocks the phone the moment one touches it. Mybroadband states that the phone is set to arrive on the local South African market in March.
