ASUS is making a splash overseas with smartphones that we probably won’t ever see this side of the planet. The latest of these is the newly-announced Pegasus 2 Plus smartphone, an Android 5.1 handset boasting some decently-impressive specs.

The Pegasus 2 Plus features a Snapdragon 615 processor, a fairly speedy octa-core mid-ranger CPU from Qualcomm, and will be toting along a solid 3GB of system memory along.

There’s a 5.5-inch full HD display display, which is decent for what is essentially a mid-range phone. ASUS are including a 3030mAh battery, which should be keeping you online and working for a long time to come.

The Pegasus 2 Plus is also set to be a dual-SIM smartphone, which is always a popular choice for ASUS’ target market for this phone. We’re expecting it to launch in China, but there’s no word on when that’ll happen or if it’ll become more widespread at a later stage.
