Review: Samsung S24D300H
Samsung. Monitors. Two things that go extremely well together, whether you’re looking at the highest of the high (no, not like that) or the super-budget screens on offer. The Samsung S24D300H isn’t either of these, though this 23.5-inch screen is closer to being a budget choice than anything else. It’s still wicked awesome though.
That’s because Samsung have equipped the Samsung S24D300H with the aforementioned 23.5-inch panel, a Full HD, 1920 x 1080 TN LED screen that will make you extremely pleased you chose it. It’s got 250 nits of brightness behind it, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and also uses Samsung’s own Mega Contrast tech.
The Samsung S24D300H comes fitted with a D Sub input, as well as a single HDMI. So it’s more suitable for more modern computer configurations rather than those that are still using DVI or VGA. That’s cool though, you’re going to want to grab one of these if you’re a gamer – that’s because of the Game Mode option as well as a main input.
Otherwise, this is a fairly basic display. The screen is fantastic, true, but there are few extras to be had. There’s no speaker, headphone or USB connection but then again, it’s not priced as though there are these options available.
What you see is what you get and what you see is an excellent 24-inch HD gaming screen. Guess what you’re going to get.
